Come aumentare le visualizzazioni alle storie?

In this case study Carlo tells us how to increase views on Instagram stories through a practical case of a company profile that he manages as a social media manager.

How to increase views on stories: a practical case!

I was recently commissioned to do a fairly difficult, albeit very stimulating, job.

The client turned to me to improve communication on his social channels and in particular (needless to say) on Instagram.

After carrying out an analysis of his profile with Not Just Analytics Business , we realized that although the profile was absolutely healthy (the profile has a blue check mark and no automations were ever used nor were fake followers ever purchased) it was stagnant .

Each published post reached an ephemeral number of followers and obtained even fewer interactions despite having an acceptable graphic quality. The same was true for stories that had coverage that was decidedly below average for the size of the customer’s profile (which at the time was just under 20,000 followers).

The importance of Impressions in stories

My assistant and I therefore started engagement work starting from the Stories which, as you already know by now, are the activity that to date repays the effort put in the most and in a reasonably short time.

For the first time in a long time, the social networks that I managed were not those of a musician or a festival (for obvious reasons of global health, my verticality in music has undergone a change, projecting me into other fields as well, however always linked to the show and entertainment), but of a company and this allowed us to give full rein to our imagination.

Ti viene in mente qualcosa?

increase views on instagram stories

The same went for my client’s stories. Skipping back and watching the same content over and over led Instagram to give it a positive rating because:

The time spent by followers on the customer’s stories and profile increased.

For this reason we therefore “climbed” the ranking of accounts and we probably arrived among the first four accounts that followers saw on the homepage , bringing a general increase in use to all the stories of the day.

Conclusions

Since infinite lines are drawn from a single point, but only one line passes from two points, we decided to repeat the test the following week and this is the result:

As you can see, the second time the test went even better and the peak increase in Impressions was even clearer. With it you can very well verify that the increase in coverage of the stories was clear and very positive.

We can therefore assert that by increasing the impressions of our own stories (or those of our customers) we can “force the algorithm” to consider ourselves a profile worthy of interest, scaling in importance the order of the Stories proposed to the followers until reaching between the first four.

What do we do with a technique like this?

Well, for example, in the second test we launched a new format which led many people to swipe up and consequently end up on the client’s site.

What do you want your followers to do? 😊
